GLOBAL PRIVACY POLICY FOR NETGET NETWORK
Effective Date: May 21, 2026 | Last Updated: May 21, 2026
This Global Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how NetGet Network ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, processes, and safeguards the personal data of our users, commercial clients, residential homeowners, and visitors ("you" or "your") globally. This Policy applies to our custom router ROM/firmware development, hardware configurations, commercial and residential network architecture design, ongoing remote infrastructure management, and associated software deployment services.
1. GENERAL PROVISIONS, SCOPE & SERVICE BOUNDARIES
1.1 Scope of Services
NetGet Network provides advanced network deployment, including bespoke router ROM/firmware customization, local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) architecture topology design, edge computing hardware implementation, and proactive network administration.
1.2 Territorially Explicit Exclusion of Service (Zero-Tolerance Policy)
Strict Exclusion of the Russian Federation and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK): NetGet Network explicitly does not offer, design, provision, install, maintain, or make available any network architectures, custom router ROMs, or IT infrastructure deployment services to individuals, entities, or addresses located within the Russian Federation or North Korea. We do not knowingly collect, manage, or process any personal data or network architecture data from residents, citizens, or organizations inside these territories.
If any network deployed by us is detected as operating, being remotely reconfigured, or originating from within Russia or North Korea, all firmware updates, remote support licenses, and service agreements will be TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY. Accounts found bypassing these restrictions will be permanently banned with NO COMPENSATION, prorated refunds, or data recovery avenues provided.
2. TYPES OF DATA COLLECTED BY NETGET NETWORK
Unlike a traditional internet service provider, we do not log your public upstream web browsing activity. Instead, our data collection is limited to data necessary for network deployment, device maintenance, and infrastructure security:
- Client Infrastructure Profile: Corporate name, residential contact names, deployment addresses, physical site maps, and billing details.
- Network Configuration Data: Local IP address schemes, subnet configurations, port forwarding tables, VLAN IDs, Wi-Fi SSIDs, and encrypted network security keys necessary to provision custom ROMs.
- Device Telemetry & Logs: CPU usage, memory allocation, device temperature, connected device counts, uptime logs, and firmware version histories from hardware running our custom ROMs.
- Remote Management Credentials: Securely salted, hashed, and encrypted administrative credentials used exclusively for managed network maintenance or remote troubleshooting (when contracted).
3. REGIONAL SPECIFIC ADDENDA AND COMPLIANCE
3.1 United States (US)
State-Level Comprehensive Privacy Laws (CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, etc.):
Right to Know & Access: You have the right to request a disclosure of the specific network configurations, device telemetry records, and account data we hold about your network deployment.
Right to Delete: You may request deletion of your account and archived network topologies, subject to valid outstanding technical support agreements or statutory bookkeeping rules.
No Sale or Sharing: NetGet Network does not sell your network configuration data or device telemetry to third parties, nor do we share it for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising.
COPPA: Our custom ROMs and network architectures are designed for general audiences and businesses. We do not knowingly target or collect telemetry data from devices designated primarily for use by children under 13.
3.2 Canada
Statutory Compliance: We comply with PIPEDA and provincial frameworks (including Quebec’s Law 25, Alberta PIPA, and BC PIPA).
Quebec-Specific Obligations (Law 25): We have appointed a designated Privacy Officer. In the event of a security or firmware exploit incident that risks causing serious injury to a client's network infrastructure, we will immediately report the incident to the CAI and notify all impacted network administrators.
3.3 European Union (EU) & European Economic Area (EEA)
Lawful Basis for Processing: Under the GDPR, we process your data based on Performance of a Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) to design and maintain your network, and Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) to issue urgent over-the-air (OTA) firmware security patches.
Cross-Border Transfers: Any configuration data or firmware source files transferred outside the EEA are protected using European Commission-approved Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
3.4 United Kingdom (UK) & 3.5 Japan
We process infrastructure data in complete alignment with the UK GDPR and Japan's APPI. We respect principles regarding the confidentiality of private communications. Our custom ROMs do not integrate hidden deep-packet inspection (DPI) modules or unauthorized remote monitoring tools.
3.6 Singapore
Compliant with the PDPA. We employ industrial-grade security controls over all stored client network diagrams and router configuration maps.
3.7 People's Republic of China (Mainland)
Statutory Compliance: We comply with the PIPL, the Data Security Law, and the Cybersecurity Law.
Data Localization: Blueprints, IP topologies, and administrative credentials collected for network setups physically operating within mainland China are securely hosted and isolated on localized data centers inside mainland China.
Hardware Security: All custom router ROM implementations built for deployment within mainland China avoid unauthorized cryptographic protocols and fulfill local security certification requirements.
3.8 Hong Kong SAR, 3.9 Macao SAR, & 3.10 Taiwan
We handle data pursuant to the PDPO (HK), Law No. 8/2005 (Macao), and the PDPA (Taiwan). Clients can exercise their statutory rights to review, copy, append, or delete architectural telemetry files retained by us.
3.11 Other Southeast Asian Countries
We strictly comply with the respective PDPA regulations of Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia (UU PDP), and the Philippines (Data Privacy Act of 2012).
4. SECURITY ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURAL DATA PROTECTION
Because NetGet Network engineers the very foundation of your digital infrastructure, security is embedded directly into our deployment workflow:
- Firmware Hardening: Custom router ROMs built by us are audited to minimize attack surfaces. Backdoors and default hardcoded credentials are completely prohibited.
- Isolation of Topologies: Client network layout diagrams and structural VLAN profiles are accessible only via multi-factor authenticated (MFA) engineering channels.
- Telemetry Controls: Deployed architectures allow network administrators to completely disable remote telemetry reporting through the router's local management dashboard interface.
